With the change of animal control operations comes a change in fee's and procedures. Below is the new fine list for owners who let their dogs run astray:
1st Offense: $40
2nd Offense: $60
3rd Offense: $80
4th Offense: Animal is picked up
Please be aware that if your animal is picked up, you have 3 days to claim it. There is a $5 a day holding fee for animal.
To make a animal complaint, please call the Franklin County 911 Center at 931-967-2331. If you call Cowan City Hall, you will be prompted to call that number.
